Really? mediocre? Granted he sucked a big one in the playoffs but he was the Ace of the AL champs and posted a pretty killer ERA in a very hitter friendly park ( I want to say under3, and defintely on around a 2 on the road). Also, he signed for much less than the likes of Burnett and Lackey who have sucked all together, just too name a couple. 5/77 isnt that bad considering what players are getting paid these days.

EDIT: His overall ERA was 2.94--home was 3.79 and away was 2.36..Opponents avg was .232..not sure thats medicore
