By several years, do you mean he got one season of full time AB for a bad team, posted a sub 700 ops, was never a regular again, and was out of baseball two years later?

Gio just wasn’t quite good enough. The Royals certainly didn’t hold him back. He just didn’t hit enough.

And Mullins is cooked? He’s one of the best hitters in the American League and has been an above-average performer offensively for five straight seasons.

Maybe sit a few plays out and don’t talk for a while. You’re embarrassing yourself.

Yeah... Not to belabor an already obvious point, but there's several things we should stop doing... like having your 5-7 hitters be Massey, Renfroe and Biggio. This madness really needs to end. Renfroe is washed. Massey needs a month in Omaha, and Biggio needs to change his last name so the team will realize that's the only reason he has a job.

How can you be a pro athlete and be as slow as Fatfroe is? ****ing Tre Smith would’ve beat that out.

I mentioned this the other day... But seriously, do athletes just no longer have any shame because their paycheck is so big? Seems like NOBODY retires anymore when they're obviously donezo. They collect that check for as long as the contract allows shamelessly. And sure, I get it, but still, I'd be a little embarrassed and maybe even feel guilty if I couldn't perform to my own expectations.

Totally agree. And yes, I think that is true for a chode like Fatfroe
