If you have fightpass, the featured fightpass prelim is soon and should be a good fight. Theodorou is a good prospect, and Alvey is a one-dimensional knockout puncher.

Interested in the Steve Bosse fight. This is based solely on his precious fighting career... on the ice! Let's see if it translates to the octagon.

I hope no one heeded that advice. It was a trap, ending with the arena loudly booing.

That women's flyweight fight is FOTN so far, but I think one of the last two fights will beat it.

alnorth 06-18-2016 10:11 PM

Good lord, Bosse vs O'Connell was God Damn madness. FOTN for sure, there's no way the last 2 fights will beat it. If you skipped this card, try to find that fight on the internet and watch it. I have no clue who should win the decision, either.

Demonpenz 06-18-2016 10:23 PM

That fight was awesome.

alnorth 06-18-2016 10:45 PM

YEEHAH! Lol, now he's knocking out welterweights. I guess Cowboy can hang at 170

alnorth 06-18-2016 11:31 PM

I have it 50-45 Wonderboy. Maybe Rory won 1 or 2 rounds, but he lost the fight.

For bonuses I have:

FOTN: Bosse vs O'Connell
POTN: Cerrone
POTN: Calderwood

Demonpenz 06-19-2016 12:47 AM

Bosse fight was awesome. Wonderboy was a good technical fight but boring

raybec 4 06-20-2016 07:06 AM

170 looks like a good home for Cerrone. He looks smooth and powerful. That Bosse O'Connel fight was crazy, best fight of the year so far. JoJo Calderwood fought like she was on a mission.

Zuffa has accepted a bid of $4.2B for 100% of the UFC. The new owners will be WME-IMG (california), Dalian Wanda (china), Tencent Holdings (china), and Robert Kraft

So Dana gets somewhere in the neighborhood of $380M and gets to keep his job. Life is hard.

alnorth 06-20-2016 03:25 PM

GSP just announced that he's ready to fight in the UFC again

alnorth 06-20-2016 04:27 PM

From what I'm reading, most of the money came from the chinese companies, but Robert Kraft and WME-IMG will act as the face of the ownership group. Dana White will be given shares in the company to stay on in his current role, and they will pick a new CEO to replace Lorenzo Fertitta. It looks like that could be Garry Cook who is currently running the international side of the UFC.
