They made me check my bag because the plane was totally full, and not enough storage bin room for all the bags. So I let them check mine free. Took about an extra 10 minutes to wait for baggage claim, no biggie after already being over three hours late. Very glad they didn't wind up in New Jersey. I'd say 90 percent of the people on the flight were coming back from the game. There was a good representation of red in the stands there. Haven't seen the TV broadcast yet, had a audible Home of the Chiefs after the National Anthem. But we were 1400 miles from home. So, not like we were playing in Tennessee or Dallas. I'll bet there will be a LOT of Chiefs fans at that Chicago game. That's an easy road trip compared to Boston.

Final post for tonight then I gotta go nite nite. Two pics from pregame. We got in the stadium about an hour before kickoff. First one shows view from where our seats were located. Awesome awesome seats for a road game. Second is looking back at the end zone. That stupid tower back there serves no purpose. There's nothing inside it. Far as i can tell, it's a shrine to stick deoderant, since this is Gillette Stadium. The whole place has the feel of a really dated and cheap 1980s shopping mall.
I have a bunch of pics I took while in Boston, I'll put up some threads on that tomorrow. |
Great job George. Best pic was of you and your smiling bride...

They had two guy cheerleaders, which isn't necessarily unusual. Chiefs had guy cheerleaders in the 1980s. (We called the guys "The Broken Arrows.") New England is a different vibe man. When Mrs. B and I went to the art gallery. They had four restroom choices based on how you identified your "gender preference." They had men's, women's, family, and non gender specific. Allllrighty then. I just need to take a whizz... |
I'm still leaning Alex is best of both worlds.

The national media is all about how the Patriots lost and almost none about how the Chiefs won the game. Typical.
