About what I expected out of the kid this year.

Looks like he's playing 1B. Not sure what the path is for him unless we trade Vinnie if he isn't going to play OF.
Salvy probably won't be on the team next year, so Jac and Vinnie can switch back and forth between playing 1st and DHing.

His club option next year is reasonable - $13M - so I imagine they’ll pick that up unless he absolutely craters.

If he ends up at .250 BA with 20 HR, they’ll pick it up.

His team option is for about 14 million or something, he's on the team next season at that price.
