Great signing.
Quinn has "It". I don't know what it is though. |

And anyone who had the pipe dream of us trading up for Luck or RG3 was really smoking some good shit. |

Signing Winston only makes me lament one thing: That we didn't trade the farm of draft picks away to land RG3. We still would have had some late-round picks to fill in depth where needed, and would have our franchise QB.
Of all the teams making a push to give up draft picks for RG3, we were the team who could most afford to lose the picks. |

OMG.
We didn't have the ammo to trade for RGIII! Nor, should we have tried to create it. It's too ****ing much to give up. JFC......... |

I'm def willing to see what happens with Quinn.
He was slated to go #2 overall but fell. Sounds like Rodgers but without a good situation to be in. I just hope that the reason we went after him is because Romeo wants to give him a legit shot over Cassel. I can't take another ****ing season of Cassel not even being able to throw to the back on the run on a simple wheel route. JFC........ |

2012 #2 2013 # 1 2014 #1 To move from #11 to #2 based on what the Rams got. 2012 #2, #3 2013 #1, #2 2014 #1, #2 At minimum. And then the Rams would actually want to move out of the top 10- since they can still pick up who they wanted at #6 but cant at #11. I wouldn't do that. |

And RGIII is hardly some sure bet at all. A run around QB coming from a simplified spread offense reeks of bust. |

Maybe Quinn and Cassel will get in a locker room fight during preseason, and Quinn will throw Cassel against the wall like a rag doll and just wale on him while he's lying on the floor.

Is there a limit? |
Quinn will be a backup, let's not fool ourselves here.

Giving up two whole drafts for RGIII would have been galatically ****ing stupid. No thanks. |

Guardian, if you haven't actually watched Quinn (which is clear as day) you should probably stop talking about him.
You would never say any of that foolish gibberish if you had watched him for a few games. He is hot garbage and may not even make the team if we sign/draft ANYONE ELSE. |

Seems like Pioli has a thing for sloppy seconds from the Bronco QB reject pile. Maybe KC is where Quinn will finally show he belongs in the NFL.

Where the **** are some of you getting this blind optimism about Brady Quinn? He stinks and might not even make the roster, let alone be useful to us in any way as a starting QB. 5 years in the NFL and he is just the result of no one giving him a chance.....YEAH RIGHT!

I'm fairly certain Romeo is well aware of the QB situation in KC. |

Looks like we are setting up for a Brownstastic Derek Anderson/Brady Quinn suck off. Like Milk has already said though, Stanzi should be the game one starter if there weren't politics involved in all this bullshit. |
hell, i think i would of rather has Grossman

And if they trade him....Hasselbeck/Weeden/Palko will end up being their depth chart. LMAO |
Its pretty simple with Brady Quinn really.
A) He is going to be the answer. B) He will put us in better position to get the answer. C) He will just be a backup. |

You really don't want to see Palko get his "so you cut me" revenge on

Is the end of that sentence. You may possibly have no QBs at all on your roster prior to draft time. That's a ****ing embarrassment from your "brilliant" GM |
I like several others on here wasn't real enthused about this signing. TBH I never really watched much of the guy either. But after seeing some of the situations that Quinn has been thrust into, he may have some unlocked potential. There has been more than one QB in the NFL that didn't exactly light it up their first 2-5 years in the league that went on to become solid contributors later. Who knows this guy may not pan out at all. But I think he deserves another shot. Flame away.

a) sign Brady Quinn b) trade a first and second rounder for Carson Palmer Id sign Quinn You would say the same if you weren't a full blown Raider blind homer. |

A first and a second for Carson Palmer on a dog shit team is one of the most epic fail trades of the past 10 years. |
You guys are in for a surprise
|
wtf? the Chefs signed Brady Quinn?
why? |

Meanwhile, I hope everything gets resolved amicably in Denver, with Tebow getting the full Cassel-treatment for the next 3 years. |
I think Brady Quinn has the physical tools, and is very talented, but in no way does he have the mental makeup to be a great QB. Thats what seperates Lenny from Brady imo.

Again, we also have a 30-year old USC quarterback who has never broken the "elite" seal. Why he would all of a sudden become a fantastic QB in this league makes about as much sense as Palmer all of a sudden turning into a fantastic QB |

By the way R8ers, in the CP Mock Draft over in the draft forum we just started the 5th round. Just think... only about a dozen more picks to go and you guys get to make your first pick of the entire draft!
