I'm in the "draft Berry" camp, and I'm very encouraged by what I'm seeing (hearing) of Brandon Flowers' work ethic. How great would it be to have these two roaming our defensive backfield for the next 10 years.

Berry was on Sirius NFL Radio today and said that he has had numerous conversations with the Chiefs and he thinks there is some interest there.

I'm in the "keep Flowers FOREVER" camp.

I like to pick wild Berry Flowers

I'm more convinced now than ever that if Berry is there at #5, and I think he will be, we will take him.

If we do, our secondary would be shaping up nicely...him and Flowers in the D backfield would be AWESOME.

The "next Ed Reed" would be a great addition.

This brings back wonderful memories of Carter and Hasty in the backfield.

they would be the best secondary we have had since albert lewis, kevin ross,and deron cherry.

Although, if Flowers analysis is correct, we could get a good player in Cam Chancellor in, say, the fifth round rather than burn a first rounder on a safety...just saying...

I know that goes against conventional wisdom around here, seeing as Jimmy Clausen is the second coming of Johnny Unitas and Eric Berry is Paul Krause reincarnated and both are going to save this franchise in their rookie years, and that you can always get Pro Bowl linemen in free agency where you can never find playmakers outside of the first round.

I dont care how he spells, how he talks, how he acts, how he dresses, how he drives, what he eats, who he ****s, etc etc.

Just help this team win football games dude.

I'd be a fan of Berry at FS and Chancellor at SS... it gives me wood thinking about it.

Flowers is a Hokie. Of course he's good, but he'll bolt from KC as soon as his contract is up.

And what reason would you have to believe that?

He'll go play for the Virginia Virgins.

We Hokies talk at Alumni functions. Lets just say that most the players don't want to live in either state, Kanssouri, because there is nothing to do there.

So did this come from Flower's mouth, word of mouth, or just a generalization? I highly doubt that the Chiefs will just let Flowers walk.

And just because he plays there doesn't mean he has to live there.

I am pulling your leg. I have no idea about Brandon's thoughts on playing for the Chiefs. I can only imagine how I would feel....violated, tainted, depressed, angry...and so on. :P

Lloyd Burruss was no slouch either. All four made the pro-bowl at the same time one year.

Flowers has been excellent. If he keeps it up Pioli would be a moran not to pay the man.

Flowers is ultimate proof that a 4.5 corner who can flat out play is better than a 4.4 corner who can't.

Flowers/Carr/Page/Berry = win.
