Give Rockfest a try. It's pretty well run and everyone is very respectable there, plus the fans are incredibly well behaved for 50,000 strong.

I've found this to be true with all of the festivals I have attended. Just pure joy.

Bonnaroo can get shitty. I don't attend that one anymore.

Heh. Rockfest blows, by the way. Go if you want some first rate whiskey tango entertainment like people pissing everywhere and girls showing tits that have no need to be shown.

I was at Knotfest 2012, Saw Cannibal Corpse, DEP and Deftones was ****ing great, Last year my buddies took me to some EDM festival and god that sucked. Terrible Music drugged out hippies and Im still feeling this itch from messing around with this body painted chick in a RV

I went to Rockfest about nine years ago a couple times. Always had a blast. I like EDM music, would love to go to one of those. Now that Ive finally hit my 30s though, Id prob be the oldest person there lol. Partied with some EDM people a couple years ago in Vegas during EDC and had a blast. And the little clothing those girls wear....is quite alright

Spent my youth and through my twenties following the greatest touring festival ever: Grateful Dead and Phish tour.

Not for me any longer, though I am attending Hangout this year... but I'll be pretty chill there.

Them ****ers would annoy the shit out of me that begged for money for gas to get to the next grateful dead concert that they dont even actually attend, just get high in the parking lot.

Was never a Dead or Phish guy. Went to a Jimmy Buffet show once. Never again.

On top of that, they have a completely different lineup every year, so you'll never hear the same band twice.

Got into Widespread Panic back in 2000-2002 and followed them around for a bit.
Was a decent experience.

Went to Reggae Riseup in Tampa last year. Was very cool. Would love to go to Cali Roots, or Carolina Sessions but have t had the opportunity. Also the Welcome to Jrick cruise would be mad fun!!

Been a long time but I went to numerous Summerjams back in the 70's-80's,had a blast each time even when REO Speedwagon was performing Ridin' The Storm Out in a major rainstorm.

Not a fan, but I don't typically have much else in common with people that like the same kind of music I do. Smaller shows with less people are more my thing.
