From 1-5 to Division Winners?
These next 2 weeks are going to be VERY EXCITING!!!! I don't think a DEN Loss is out of the question next week! Let's win out & pull for Cincy next week baby!!! :)
|
I'm not convinced we want that.

Me either. At Houston or hosting Denver, Pitts? |
Tits or gtfo

Chefs own the tie breaker over the donkey's, right?
|
I'd rather get a playoff win off our back than that kind of thing. Don't get me wrong we can beat anyone but it's not like we don't have enough pressure. 1993.

we would host pits?is win division?

I think Cincy's D is better than Pitt's so I'm expecting a much lower score vs Denver next week. Probably 23-17 Cincy.

Still stunned that we are discussing this.
A few weeks ago, I was sitting in GB bleachers crying in my beer about losing...and thinking that there was no why in hell that we were going to the playoffs. |
I've said this before.
Just win out, and let the rest of the chips fall where they may. |

I'm pretty excited at the thought of this. And the odds of that home playoff game being Vs Denver would be pretty high. I'd love to end this damn streak against them.
|
I'm terrified of the next 2 gamess.
The Chiefs should win both games, but it's the chiefs |
Here is my thing. I would rather play Houston. Everyone wants to win a playoff game, and Huston is going to give us a better chance then playing Denver or Pitt. Would you rather play a healthy Peyton and Ben, or play Brandon Weedon? I will take Weedon all day long
|
I'd rather they win the division and get the playoff win money off their back at home, then play the steelers at home in the afccg
|
I'm not happy about Denver losing today. If the Jets lose to new England next week, I'll be Gung ho about winning the division. Until then, I'm still nervous about even making the playoffs let alone winning the division.

My only fear is losing to Oakland.
|
The Jets play the Patriots next week. So hopefully Tommy brings his A game and shreds them. That way we don't have to freak out about winning out.
The Steelers are as good as in. |
It's not Denver that concerns me, it's specifically Antonio Brown.
|
If the goal is a Superbowl championship, I don't see how you could not want to win the division. If the Chiefs go in as a wild card and win, the most likely next match-up is on the road at New England.

Winning the division and having the steelers as the 5 seed would potentially give the chiefs a chance to avoid the Pats
|
It would be nice to have Justin Houston back against Manziel. Dee Ford doesn't have the containment skills to truly pressure him or keep him from escaping the pocket. Could be a frustrating day.

I'd rather play the pats than the steelers.

Hopefully that Royal mojo was contagious, winning out and making the playoffs would be great. To win it all would be epic. I have zero confidence in either, because Chiefs.

Our 2ndary isn't good enough with Ben at QB to keep up with Brown,Bryant,Wheaton and Williams coming out of the backfield, especially with Haley and the Steeler's revenge factor from earlier in the year. Haley would love to just deficate all over our 2ndary in Arrowhead and keep the playoff losses coming.
|
Denver or the jets at home or Houston on the road?
Easy choice. Denver or the Jets at home. We likely wouldn't see the Steelers til the AFCCG whether we win the division or get the 5th seed. Unless they lose to either the Browns or Ravens. |
The odds of the Chiefs playing the Steelers in the wildcard round are very low. Right now it's looking a lot like it'll be either Vs Denver or @ Denver.

That said, we seem to play better on the road for some reason. |

Have I ever mentioned how much I despise the idea of Thursday Night Football? |
On the other hand the Broncos play SD week 17 after TNF so we'll all be in the same boat.

I wish people would shut up about this shit. Just win next week against Cleveland. Then worry about what happens.

Keep the momentum going & finish off the Browns & Raiders & whatever else happens is just icing on the cake. |
It really bugs me that the Jets have won 4 in a row and Steelers have won 3 in a row. We should be comfortably able to stand a loss by now.
