I remember when Nick Wright was a student at Syracuse and posting on KCFORUM.NET as Nick Orange. Then one day he announced that he had been hired by 610 AM to do a radio show.

According to Nick Wright I am 100% racist because I like College Basketball but could care less about watching the NBA.

Never understood how people like the college game more than the pros. There is absolutely nothing about the college game that is better besides the win or go home tournament layout. That's really not better, though, just more intense obviously. Long shot clocks, terrible shot selections and way too many fouls called. It's baffling to me that someone can love college basketball and hate the NBA. It's even weirder meeting college football fans who don't watch the NFL.

I can see why fans would like either or. I like both. I used to be all about saying the NBA refs are better than college. It's hard to say now. NBA refs are falling for way too many flops, head snaps, and heaves from the 3 point line when they should be calling on the floor fouls or no fouls at all. It's been ugly to watch this post season. Just horrid refereeing. Not that college refs are better or worse.

At least he is a Chiefs fan. The more Chiefs fans that get to the national stage the more love the Chiefs get. The more love they get the more "breaks" the Chiefs will get in the big games.

He needs to eat a sandwich. He looks like a chemo patient who's dying wish was to have his own TV show.

A lot of KC people have an alma mater or a local college team to root for, but no one has a local NBA team to get into.

I wish FS1 would bring the two Canadian guys back who did there version of SportsCenter. They were pretty good. Of course they have to go against SVP now.

He's a NY sports radio guy which means it's the same type of show as Keitzman's old show but 10x worse. Just horrible one horrible hot take after the other. Zero substance, all garbage.

It might be watchable now but when the season starts it's Dak-Cowboys/LeBron/Lakers and then the writers will throw in some bullshit like "is Carr having as good of a season as Mahomes?"

Nick is awful. Just because he loves KC doesn't give him a pass. He's supposed to be unbiased. I have been listening to hosts like Dan Patrick, Eisen, Rome, Mad dog for years and I have no idea who their favorite teams/players are. It's OK for 14 year old fan boys to make idiotic statements like "Feels like 20-0 to me" and "LeBron is the GOAT and there isn't even a close 2nd" Don't want to hear that hyperbole from a sports talk show host

I watched the new Speak just to ogle Joy when I got home. They got rid of Wiley which needed to be done but Nacho is just as annoying and just won't STFU.

Also GMF needs a complete overhaul just stale Kyle Brandt is just worthless and Schrager doesn't' seem to care anymore. McCourty isn't a bad replacement but the show is a bore.

I think thats why the show works. Wildes is admittedly biased too.
