I suppose it isn't terribly surprising, but I would've preferred an outdoor venue. |
LFG!!!

Disregard, I was beaten to the punch.

Could be worse. I like it

Simply Red just shot a load to the moon simultaneously while popping a clean breaker
|
Guess who lives about 3 hours away from Atlanta.
|
KC to ATL->799 miles
BUF to ATL->892 miles That seems fair |
A little surprised they chose a dome, but makes sense for spectators.
|
won't matter
Bills will lose to the #3 seed |

I like our offense full of speed, and quick twitch guys in a dome. |

What kind of grass does this piece of shit have?

Not a bad choice. Like Dallas, good stadium, easy access, tons of hotels & nightlife.

I’ve driven solo from KC to Atlanta in one day before, it’s doable. Rush hour traffic is nuts though, choose hotel location wisely if you’re leaving early Monday.

We've already seem some Big-time problems handling passes in the cold from our receivers. A domed afc title game is advantage KC all day. |
I expect the Bengals but if the Bills pull it off I'm going to this.
Could use some warmer weather anyway. |
These terms are acceptable to me

With CIN losing Cappa, I'm not so confident this won't happen.
|
you can book fully refundable flights via southwest or united (maybe a few other airlines), and there's several downtown atlanta hotels that also allow free cancellation.
some hotels are already adjusting their prices from yesterday to today post announcement. |
Fly Southwest to the game and you may get there by July.
|
It seems nice
|
How does one buy tickets for a game like this? Does it have to wait until it is down to those two teams?

No reason to hate on this. Of course we all prefer it to be at Arrowhead but this seems nice.
|
I’d rather play the bills at Atlanta than the bengals at home

I was gonna go if they had it in Las Vegas.
Oh well, saves me a bunch of money. |
Atlanta guy here. The family and I just drove out to KC for Broncos game 2 weeks ago. Drive is exactly 12 hours. Did a 2 part drive to KC stopping at Paducah - exactly half way. Return trip drove in 1 straight shot, not bad.
Drive highlights: If you are a golfer, Sweetens Cove is literally just off I-24 outside Chattanooga (they won't have tee times listed avail but have cancellations every day, call and talk to them). Also a Bucee's about an hour north of Atl on I-75. Can't wait for the game if it happens, will absolutely be there with my sons. There are a ton of Bills fans down here, but I'd expect it to be 50-50. |
That should help Justin watson.

Whose palms got greased on this deal?
Atlanta's airport is a damn city-state. The times in/out of that airport were a nightmare. I'd rather drive. Prefer Vegas, Dallas. Eric Rudolphed.... |

Patrick Mahomes is 15-2 in warm weather cities.
In one loss, the Chiefs scored 51 points. In the other, no offensive line showed up. |

The main thing I hate about Atlanta is the traffic. It's right up there with New York, Boston and DC. Actually worse than Chicago. Traffic on a Saturday (good weather, no road construction) was like Chicago rush hour.

Atlanta (different stadium) was the site of one of Mahomes' first epic highlight plays... that 69 yard pass to Tyreek in the 2018 preseason.
|
Flew into Atlanta a couple of times going to talladega. Thought we were going to die on the interstate going 100 to just keep up with traffic.

Can anyone thats better at looking at flights tell me what a fan from KC will pay to flight into Atlanta versus a Bills fan flying from Buffalo? For some reason I'm getting about $350 for KC to Atlanta and like $650 for Buffalo to Atlanta! If correct...I LOVE that

The wife is a big Braves fan, and we've been down there several times over the years to go to games. The last time I drove, we had a few hours to kill before a Saturday night game, so I thought it would be cool to visit Stone Mountain, which seemed like it would be about a 45 minute drive from the area of then Sun Trust Park. WRONG. Took over an hour and a half to get there and nearly two hours to get back. Traffic was absolutely miserable; definitely not something I wanted to deal with during a vacation weekend. Ended up having about 20 minutes to look around before leaving. After that I determined to never drive a car in that area again. The next time we went down we just took a cab from the airport to the Omni Hotel adjacent to now Truist Park. Plenty of restaurants in that complex, so there was no need to drive. That was fun. I'll definitely stick to that in the future. |

This could be a huge boost to the Chiefs. In bad weather Allen can just run it 30 times.
