Former Jags front office employee charged for.......
|
Yeah crazy stuff
|
Is that why they couldn't afford a cart to bring Trevor Lawrence to the locker room?

Glad they caught him. Apparently a dude named Samir nagheenanajar
|
That guy came in hot. In only 4 years he stole $22 million? That was not a good employee who found a loophole. He came in planning to steal money.
|
I'm not sure I would make a good criminal, but I would guess that an important part of it would be staying under the radar.

How much money is the team making when $32 million can go missing unnoticed?

Psh. And they made a big deal about Chiefsaholic...

No wonder Hootie was bragging about how much money he had last time he showed up here

Jags want fanduel to give them their money back
https://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/...tolen-millions |
I'm not going to pretend to know the legality, but with the amount of money this dude was losing there's no way FanDuel didn't have some idea what was going on. There's no way it was just flying under the radar.
|
If I'm stealing $20m I'm not subsequently blowing it on fanduel bets
|
That'll get you a lot of $100 lunches.

"He was legendarily bad," the person said. So like Matt Cassel bad, or Tyler Palko bad? |

I suspect the truth of the matter is that the Jaguars have zero chance of getting any of that money back But now I'm curious. I don't know legal stuff very well. If he stole a bunch of team cars or computers, the Jaguars would show the serial numbers and the police would take them from the gamblers and give the back to the Jaguars. So why is money different? Is it just because they can't identify the actual currency notes used? If it's abundently clear that this guy didn't have $22 million until he got the job, and then suddenly he was betting millions of dollars, it's clear to me as a juror that he was using the stolen dollars. But I have a hunch that the law doesn't work that way. Why? |
