Stupid Andy - always throwing the ball and doesn't know how to manage a clock...

Should have given the ball to Patrick on 4th and 1 earlier in the game. Get him on the edge. Force the defense to deal with multiple options, both his legs and his arm.

Don’t make me agree with wallcrawler, people

Didn't work (and I'd have just kicked it outright) but in the end I can understand the thought process. |

I'd say both sides fought to a stalemate on that front, but seeing as how that was supposed to be a massive Ravens advantage helps explain why the Chiefs won, and honestly the victory was more decisive than the one-score game it ended up being. |

Baltimore is a strong defense. Hard to expect to run a play like that and easily get it. Patrick’s arm and legs are a lethal combination. They need to take advantage of it more often in short yardage. |

The safest play in football ended with Pats kneecap on the side of his leg. I guess it's priority issue. Do I want 1 yard, or do I want to have 15 available to throw passes? BWillie double fist pounding the table, violently shaking his head, tendrils of drool spattering the room as he screeches for the 1 yard. Incredible. |
Look - on the QB sneak thing. There's a reason we don't do it, and it's not just "because he got injured one time." He's the most competitive mother ****er to ever exist, and if that would give us the edge, we'd run it.
There was a twitter thread a long time ago with Stroupe replying to questions about Patrick's leg structure - his legs bow inward. Its even part of the reason he has his funny little jog walk. I think they try to avoid having Patrick placing a shit ton of strain/torque on his knee joints in a 10-12 man pile. |

Football is a violent sport and weird shit happens. There's no reason to believe he's any MORE likely to get hurt on a QB Sneak than he is on any other play. On a percentage basis, a QB sneak is one of the safer plays a QB can run. |

Sadly I'm in the same boat as Mahomes, except my kneecap dislocation happened while trying to sit down on a hotel bed at Bellagio in Las Vegas. The damn bed was really tall. Something went wrong with the angle of my legs and body while trying to sit down. I've been extremely paranoid about this topic ever since it happened, since I know I'm in the category of people who are more likely to keep experiencing this fluke injury. |
I don't have a problem with the call on 4th down. The previous possession, Pacheco punched it in from what the 4? I get the ravens expecting run more on the latest 4th down but we were having success.
|
that play was legendary. 3rd and 9, you win if you convert and he bombs it to MVS.

Back to the opening post......
Game on the line.....who else's hands are you putting the ball in? When you have Mahomes as your QB, putting the ball in anyone else's hand besides Mahomes hands is an immediate firing offense. |
