***KEEP fuckIN DOUBTING THE SEATTLE SEAHAWKS***
After a little sampling from the bold prediction thread and the money flying around in Vegas for the Panthers, it would appear the general consensus is Carolina steamrolls Seattle in the NFC title game. 3 road games in 3 weeks. 3000 miles to get to this one. Banged up from the Chicago game. The buck stops here. Unchartered territory. Seattle will play in the big game. They're due, they're well coached, they have the MVP of the league, and an experienced QB that is quite possibly the leagues most underrated. I've said it before, and I'll say it now. I don't suffer from the East coast bias, Seattle moves on. GO SEAHAWKS!!!!!!
|
AND.........they have the ugliest uniforms in the NFL!
Seattle is who I would pull for if anyone else was their opponent. I don't like the Panthers chances to a degree with the travel and injuries but if healthy and on a neutral field I think they wax that ass. |

Is Alexander gonna be healthy?

If Alexander isn't at least 90% Seattle is doomed.

Defensive end Julius Peppers was one of seven Panthers who missed today's practice, as Carolina attempted to recover from a hard-hitting game in Chicago. Peppers, who hurt his shoulder late in the third period and didn't return, is listed as questionable on the team injury report for Sunday's game at Seattle. Also missing practice were fullback Brad Hoover (ankle), center Jeff Mitchell (knee), defensive tackle Kindal Moorehead (ankle), guard Tutan Reyes (toe), defensive tackle Jordan Carstens (illness) and safety Mike Minter (wrist). All were listed as questionable except Carstens from observer / stan olsen |

I believe I will keep doubting them

I think the Panthers run out of steam this week. They are very banged up and the Seahawks are healthy (Alexander is 100% by all accounts). It will be a close game but I think Seattle wins. |

Bottom line I think they've proven they can play whichever kind of game they have to. |
Atlanta had already given up and the Giants had a Manning on the team.
This will be the Panthers fourth straight road game and it's a looong way away. Throw in a banged up defense and Foster on IR and think they run out of steam. Also, they've played all of their games in good weather so far and it is not good weather up here - rainy and windy - which will slow Smith down. |
