Eerie similarities between the 1999 Rams and the 2009 Chiefs.

I'm telling you, we're on to something.

So....wait....a Price Chopper employee somewhere in Lenexa is going to lead us to the Super Bowl?

Huffman83 08-30-2009 11:53 PM

How can it be a former Chiefs first round pick..if they're still on the team?

And playing half of their games in Missouri.....NO SHIT!!!

Hammock Parties 08-30-2009 11:54 PM

The 1999 Rams were coached by a guy who lost his only previous Super Bowl appearance.

The 2009 Chiefs were coached by a guy who lost his only previous Super Bowl appearance.

Wouldn't that be sweet. Wait; didn't the Rams have their other positions in order?

Oh well, nice pipe-dream.

Seriously, that's great work RM, and I tried to rep you but it appears OP's are inactive for repping.

I think every time something major happens to the Chiefs, Rain Man goes on pro football reference and starts digging.

Random research is like sex to him.

Both teams are quarterbacked by a "nobody" that only got their chance when the starter had his knee blown out by a safety from the AFC West.
