They gotta do something about this passrush
Honestly its brutally bad. They have nobody that can get to the quarterback, and 90% of the plays I see zero pressure none.
Tamba Hali is not the answer. I know he tries and all, but he is just not that good. They gotta make this priority #1 in the off-season. They can't neglect this area of weakness on the team. Its a serious issue and a really really bad weakness. This isn't cool to watch. zero pass rush is death to a defense. And Im sure we are all aware of this. This issue needs to be resolved asap. I do not want to see this next year and the year after, because they will never field of good defense if they don't address this issue. they're lucky they played Russell today. Honestly, if they had to play a real good quarterback we would've seen a circus performance. |
There is NOTHING they can do for the pass rush with the current personnel.

They need to find a couple of guys somewhere that can get to the quarterback. |
Hali has been owned two years in a row by Mario Henderson.
Vrabel is ****ing invisible, I have to say. Huge disappointment so far. |
Peppers? and Haynsworth were FAs during the off season, we had so much money under the cap but still didn't even touch them.

Id keep Vrabel at least he can provide some decent play w/ experience, and leadership. Wouldn't totally depend on him to be my starting OLB though. |
Anyone worth their shit knew that Vrabel was a locker room guy, not an on the field guy. He's ****ing done, that's why the Pats got rid of him.
The only thing we really could have, and should have done about the PR via the draft was to draft Sidbury in round 4. There were FA options out there, though. |

The Chiefs roster, outside of maybe six or seven guys, are a ****ing abortion. The Chiefs need 10-12 new starters, period. You can't just target one position. |
What pass rush?
|
they were in the bidding for Haynsworth but Washington was more willing to to pay and KC with all that money said no no we ant gonna pay that much. now look at us.
|
Sadly, we're not at the point where we have the luxury of saying "we absolutely MUST address this one glaring weakness in the first round." We are really, truly, in BPA territory. I, for one, hope to see a pass rush addressed in rounds 2-4, assuming we address the line in round one. If we go BPA with a guy like Eric Berry, I hope 2-5 are for the O-Line and pass rush
