Rich Cimini, of the New York Daily News, reports New York Jets general manager Mike Tannenbaum said unrestricted free-agent FB Tony Richardson (Jets) plans to play at least one more season in the league.



I always liked that guy , he should retire a Chief.

IMO he never should have left the Chiefs.I understand the whole thinning out the FB position,but to me,he's one of those players that you find a way to get involved in the game.Maybe it's the homer in me.:shrug:

He was a beast of a fb. I remember the ravens game in 01, (I think) he totally pancaked Ray Lewis on a run play.

Getting rid of him never made an ounce of sense, and as punishment we have spent years looking for a replacement.
