My Grandma passed this morning
 

The world lost a good woman this morning. Dena Vernon my Grandma passed away in her sleep. After months of fighting and suffereing she is finally at rest.

It is so odd that we find the urge to post things like this on a random message board but we are like a family here and a common bond.

I know many of you have recently went through the same pain so you understand where I am coming from.

My Grandma was a great influence on my life and she taught me many things. One of those things was to work harder than expected and you will always succeed. I have used those words throughout my life and have found truth in them.

So here's to Grandma, one helluva wiffle ball pitcher, fish cleaner, maker of awesome breakfasts and a great person overall. I will miss you Grandma,

Isn't it such a blessing to have had that time with your grandma? So many people don't get that opportunity to even know their grandparents. Blessings on you and your family.....and Im so happy your grandma is at peace.

My condolences. Be happy for the time you had to spend with her. I lost my grandparents at 8 and both parents by 22.

Sorry to hear about your loss. It's great that you have such good memories of her to carry forward though. That's one of the better things that we can hope to leave behind when we leave this place.
