Bashaud Breeland today on GMFB

Sounds like he is good with Super Bowl now wants to be payed. I would like to keep him but I think someone is going to overpay hugely.

Also have always wondered on that int why he went out of bounds. I dont think there was anyone in front of him to endzone and he looked under control. Its been driving me crazy maybe I need see a overhead view.

That's fine and expected for someone on a short "show me" contract. Does Fenton take the outside and Fuller goes back to the slot? (assuming no FA/draft CB)

I thought his momentum carried him out. He did just make a hard sprint left to get in position for the catch. He probably could have slowed a bit, but I think that might have broken his concentration on the ball.

Go make that coin Breeland

comochiefsfan 02-12-2020 01:51 PM

He did his job for us this year and he deserves to be paid if that's what he wants to focus on.

Veach will find a replacement for him. Either in house or through the draft.

Can’t say I blame him.

It’s nice to see everything work out for him. He had a nice contract with the Panthers before his medical issue.

He was really betting on himself when he took the cheap deal with us. He won that bet, and now he’ll probably get overpaid. Good for him.

1. The dude was GREAT

2. He's played on two "show-me" contract seasons in a row.

I don't blame him for wanting to get paid. I hope the Chiefs have enough of a relationship with him to ask if he will give KC a chance when he starts getting offers. Who knows what the open market will bring.

Danguardace 02-12-2020 02:00 PM

He bet on himself and won, can't knock him for that.

srvy 02-12-2020 02:01 PM

Yeah I dont blame him to get the coin but man he is so good and physical hard to find those guys.

I still looking at it think he went out of bounds because he was jacked up excited and figured Mahomes would do the rest anyway.

He could not have been better for us in the role he was in. Almost had the opposite strengths of Peters in a way. It was amazing how he set the tone against the Pats with that hit on White. Even with his penalties, they were almost always holds to prevent TD's (outside of his Tennessee PI - which he more than made up for two weeks later).

I thought his momentum took him out of bounds on the INT. He seemed so focused on the ball and didn’t have time to correct once he had it secured.

Good for him and thanks for the contributions. Veach can, clearly, find DBs.

I’d like for us to get Kristian Fulton CB from LSU

Dunerdr 02-12-2020 02:12 PM

I was very excited to bring him in. He was solid in his time in washington, had a streak of bad luck, took a chance with us and won. Im thankful for his time here. And wish him the best of luck, as long as hes not a pat, raider, bronco, or charger. I could very well see him being a bronco though when chris harris leaves.

Speaking of Chris Harris, he seems like an obvious target. I think there’s a pretty big chance he signs with us.

Appreciate your service.

Go get paid: we'll take the compensatory pick.

Draft well, find similar 1-year options, keep winning.
