Is Eric Bieniemy still the CHIEFS offensive coordinator?
 

I didn't see him on the sidelines tonight vs. the Raiders. It looked like Andy Reid was calling all the plays. Did the CHIEFS just play their best game of this season without OC EB?

Hopefully he was spotted on USC campus interviewing for that HC job.

I think he was one of the first to congratulate Tyreek after the 1st TD. I think there was a shot of EB on bench next to Mahomes in 1st quarter.

It did seem like Reid may have been picking the play off the sheet and relayed it through EB like they did the previous two years.

Hopefully he’s been relieved of playcalling duties.

They make new anti racism policies league wide but we cant find a taker for him. That tells me all I need to know. Once a Charger, always a Charger

I think I heard somewhere this past week Andy was gonna call the plays this game. If that's the case and all the sudden the offense looks night and day then EB needs to go coach a high school team or something

Has EB been calling the plays? Is that known? Admitted to by Reid? Or EB? That it was all Andy tonight? Seems like a lot of jumps to conclusions without any evidence.

Ward is excused on the ugly TD to Renfrow then. He usually plays slants and zigs pretty well. He wasn't himself. We're going to need him this week.

I'm not going to defend Bieniemy because I have no clue what I'm defending. His role is unknown to fans, and it's stupid for us to speculate to the degree of, "Bieniemy was totally calling the plays when our offense was slumping and Reid did it tonight and that's why we put up 41 points!"

My guess is his role hasn't changed since he got this job. He probably did a little playcalling his first year. And his second year. And he's probably been calling some of the plays this year, too.

He never stopped calling plays.

There is a conspiracy theory going around that EB lost playcalling this week.

I don't buy it. There's too much footage of Mahomes ignoring open checkdowns.

Tonight he just executed.

Did you see the route Renfroe ran? He's run a very similar route vs. J. Ramsey and made him look foolish. It's so good, that a lot of WRs have copied it the last couple years.

Ward did about as well as anyone could expect vs. Renfroe there.
