Wasn't a fan of his the first few years but its clear not only has he put together some solid drafts the last few years he's also crushed it during free agency. The two biggest questions during the off season were the defensive line and WR positions. I think his moves answered those questions today. This was the most fun I've had watching a regular season game in a few years. The guys were dialed in and having fun. Transition year my ass

When I found out HE was the reason we drafted Mahomes, I was sold on him. And once he became the actual GM, he might have started a bit slow, but he's done nothing but improve.

He just keeps getting better! It is truly amazing the more you think about it.

What he did on defense this offseason is incredible. 4 rookies playing in the defensive backfield and looking damn good.

Compare his OL rebuild last year to what the Bengals trotted out there today.

Reminds me of years when we heard that Patriot way bullshit but the GM at the time was unable to bring in guys who could contribute like that. Today we saw a great example of it with Justin Reid. He was good on defense and absolutely crushed those kickoffs and aside from that 1 shanked PAT he was good in the kicking game. Absolute value doing those little things that go along way toward winning football games

This is the best squad we've had during the Mahomes era. So much depth. Lose a starting stud G, no problem, don't miss a beat. Lose a starting CB, no problem. Lose the fastest WR in the NFL, no freaking problem.
