So I know he's the Barstool Sports guy, and I know he's a Patriot fan and ballwasher of all things related. I'm listening to an interview\conversation he is having with Megyn Kelly on her podcast. A couple of things:

They were talking politics (but that's not what this thread is about so don't cancel me) and the signal chat controversy. He kept constantly referring to it as SINGAL chat. I figure once is a flub but over and over...your and idiot.

THEN, later they are talking about the Shedeur Sanders story, and he said (almost word for word):

"He slid into I believe the 4th round..."??

Then Megyn Kelly asks him "How many rounds are there?"

And I'm not shitting you, he said "Like 6 I think, 6 or 7 I think..."

What. The. ****??? This guy runs Barstool Sports but doesn't know what round Sanders was drafted, let alone how many actual rounds there are in the NFL draft??

I mean, you have ONE JOB...

Anyway, I don't know much about him and I don't listen to much sports talk...what say you geniuses?

He fills a niche very well. Middle aged frat bro who just wants to shoot the crap with other bros. He was never about purism or in depth analysis. He's there to be the guy who drinks a beer and talks smack.

I mean sure...but what casual fan doesn't know there are 7 rounds in the NFL draft...this guy owns a sports network...I dunno, it was just shocking to me.

Remember that Dave vowed to never again even watch the NFL after the Chiefs beat the Bills in the playoffs this year. He had bet $1M on the Bills to win the Super Bowl. He's not even a good Patriots fan.
