Need him or no; you should probably sit him anyway. They can't let the groin injury linger and if it pops on him again, you may be looking at a month or more out.
Besides, something's not been right with him anyway this year. Let him have a seat for a week and see if it re-charges him. He just appears so much less engaged than he was last season. He doesn't appear to be at all involved with the team.
He's always been such an upbeat, openly bubbly guy out there and right now it's just not there. He's not getting fired up with his teammates and all the gesticulating and trash talking you'd see from him on the field appears to have vanished.
He looks like he's just going through the motions out there.
