It's nuts to see how much the guy has progressed. Last year, I loved watching him freelance, but it scared the shit out of me. Wouldn't slide, took hits in the pocket instead of throwing it away. Thought he was in for a Brett Favre like career of taking tons of hits. Alex Smith for as "cerebral" a QB as people say he was never in his time in KC got better at that. You can actually see Mahomes fix his mistakes game by game. Andy Reid is crazy detailed in coaching QBs. Damn exciting combo to have a teacher like that with a student who quickly corrects his mistakes.
