I dislike both the original and the cover and I've always hated Faster Pussycat's "singer". I find him to be very annoying.
Also, the guitar player from Faster Pussycat looks like what would happen if Ian Astbury and Ian Astbury had a kid, (=Ian Astbury with a genetic disorder).
I'm afraid your opinion is incorrect and this song sucks in general.
