Just awful. I remember the original drummer and that grohl fired him because he didn’t meet grohls tough standards. Speaks volumes that grohl had this much respect for Hawkins to keep him along for the rest of the ride. Remember seeing him on a letterman performance from Alanis and thinking to myself that the dude seemed way more talented to be drumming for “hand in my pocket.”
If anyone has a chance, watch Taylor Hawkins shred some vocals. Saw them live a few times and he absolutely destroyed a few zeppelin and queen covers. He was incredibly talented.
