The hopeful part with both him and Ragans is that they just didn't come here and start blowing up. The coaching staff made a bunch of adjustments with both of them. It's not the kind of thing the Royals had success with in the past. With McArthur they made him add a slider. His curveball is already pretty nasty.
Even Kowar admitted in an article the other day he'd been hard headed but he was trying some things the coaching staff wanted. It had been working until the other night.
