If they trade Chase, they need to retain Higgins.
We could trade Tyreek because we still had prime Kelce. If they let Higgins walk and trade Chase, it's full-boat rebuild time for them.
And for what Higgins will cost vs. what Chase will cost, I think you're more likely to get production commensurate with the cost from Chase. Higgins is far more of a one-trick pony than Chase is, IMO.
They should've traded Higgins a year ago and gotten a Chase extension done then. They have REALLY screwed the pooch here and it may have done more damage than they can reasonably undo.
All because they beat Mahomes once and convinced themselves that they were better than they were.
