Quinn is no sure bet, and I had no enthusiasm to champion him prior to signing him, but he has had a horrible string of bad situations with miscalibrated expectations, where he didn't astound like Cam Newton but also didn't shit the bed like Ryan Leaf, only to be supplanted by; a QB on a hot streak, a QB with more 'experience' and The People's Jesus, almost always on shitty shitty teams.

Now he has a chance with a coach who likes him, a team with lots of weapons, and competition that has no business even being in the league.

Nothing's guaranteed, but it's nice to have, even for a moment, something other than a black cloud of utter uselessness at QB for the foreseeable future. I'm not crowning anything, but I will let him make his case.
