I honestly believe that this topic is disgusting and highly offensive.

If accepting posts by bigots is policy here at the Planet, I don't want to be a part of it.

bigot (bîg´et) noun
One who is strongly partial to one's own group, religion, race, or politics and is intolerant of those who differ.

Not only does this topic show bias and bigotry against nearly half of our society, it also shows an extreme lack of class by making fun of a very serious and very saddening occurance in our society - adultery.

BIG_DADDY, I am embarassed for you.

I don't care if any of you will miss me or not, but I will say that I am deeply saddened by the political mud that is being tossed on this, a Chiefs, BB. First and foremost we are all Americans, not some BB clique of "cool" guys vs. "retards". And people who are just stating their opinions(not trolls mind you) should be treated with respect.

1st - Disco Sucks. (BIG DADDY finds it offensive)

2nd - If people insist on taking what's important to me $$$$, and think that it is funny when it pisses me off then why shouldnt I take what is important to them. Just because half of society wants something doesn't make it right.

3rd - You have to have alot of nerve to speak of adultry from the higher ground when you are a democrat.

4th - As far as the bigot thing goes, The democrats are so partial to there own cause that they are willing to lie, cheat and steal to get what they want and are intolerant of all those who appose them.

BIG DADDY

We are now in a power struggle on 'their' turf [plaintiff's attorneys and judicial activism]. 1. I never said that I was Democrat. Let me rephrase that: I AM NOT A DEMOCRAT. Once again, it shows the shortsitedness of many on this board to assume so.

2. I never voted for Bill Clinton, either term.

3. Your replies validate my point. And by reaffirming that you are serious in your views, I feel more pity for you. Don't you realize that the Repubs in Congress have just as much responsibility as the Dem Pres. for taking your $$$? Truly sad.

4. The bigotry is true by definition and I stated that it was toward half the population because the results of the popular vote would back that up. The point I was trying to make is that IMHO this kind of bigotry is worse than racism.

HC_Chief - You are right. I am upset about something else. It is all the name-calling, stereotyping, and generally bigoted behaviour that I have seen on this board since Nov. 7.

I can take the disco cracks. Don't really care what any of you think about that. :)

2. I never called anybody a name, I believe that was Pam ( a democrat ) calling me a BIG DICK.

3. I am not a Republican either, I am a Libertarian. So I guess we both made the same assumption.

4. The reason I don't cap on Republicans as much is due to the fact that they are not willing to do anything in order to win. If your so d*mn concerned about morals why are you not addressing the elections issues that are dragging this country into the sewer?.

I guess this becomes a matter of semantics, so please try to understand what I am trying to say.

"I have this freind who is a democrat and..."

Okay, with the remainder of this statement, "democrat" is used in a derogatory manner. Can we agree on that?

If the sentence would have been more along the lines of, "I have this friend who is a poilitician....", I would probably be more understanding. Like several people on this board, I hold disdain for both major political parties. However, I do not show my disdain for them by insulting one and complimenting the other while blanketly telling only one side that I am justified in FU**ING their wives.

JC - if those are the most offensive things that you can dig up on me (and out of context to boot), than I am not concerned. Now, how many of you would like me to go through some of the other threads and find all the places where you call all democrats "losers", "morons", "idiots", "too stupid to have the right to vote", "liars",
"cheaters", "thieves", etc., etc.?

A solution to this mess will be found in unity not partisanship. If the people of this great nation would stand unified in their disdain for the current political PROCESS and not bicker about each other, we may actually see some change. I for one, am all for it. I cross party lines all the time with my IDEAS (note: not beliefs). Maybe some of you can join me.

I do really believe that the Demos must be stopped at all costs though and I don't think we will ever see eye to eye on that. DADDY - I think that we are finally in agreement. I respect your conviction, maybe just not the methods. I also appreciate the trend toward civil discussion and I am personally glad that this didn't turn into a name calling contest. :)

I think we all want basically the same things from our government. I personally believe that the two party system has replaced the three braches of government. No longer do you have three INDEPENDENT branches policing each other, but instead, we have two parties that fight for control of the majority of these branches in order to obfuscate that policing ability. It is no longer executive, judicial, and representative. Our government is Republican and Democrat. Sooner or later, it will be our Constitutional responsibility as the citizens of this great nation to remedy this problem. As long as we have the right to vote and the right to freely voice our dissatisfaction, I will work within the system. When they come to shut me up, I'll go with a fight for my rights.<BR>

I'll bite. I don't think I've used any of those terms [save etc., one of my favs from the Greek, meaning "that's about it"].
My frustration stems from my interaction with a number of strong democrats who I respect a great deal.
First of all, a have trouble reconciling the solid citizenship of the 'ordinary' democrat with the stinking, festering, power-grab party the Clinton/Clinton/Gore/Begala/Carville/O'Donnell/Streisand/Baldwin figureheads have transformed it into.
Second, I am getting tired of having to closet each and every conservative view I hold, or even from defending a conservative as a person, in order to avoid the stares of approbation and snorts of indignation.

Lightning Rod

JC - You asked, so I will answer. Although you did not employ any of the terms that I quoted singularly, your post (#7) on this thread is in the same vein. And since you referred to the wording of my post (#4), it appears to me that you had also lumped me in with all democrats. I don't want to be arguementative and as far as I'm concerned this exercise is over.

Now, from the other parts of your post, it sounds like you live in a primarily democratic region. All I can say is, hang in there. You can make it. Heck, usually people look at me like I'm crazy whenever I go off about our government. I think more people are starting to come around though. Something's broken and we need to fix it - together as people not partisans.

The electoral college goes back to the founding fathers, how much farther back do you want to go. Perhaps George did not go through the electoral college maybe even the next Pres or two but I would say that at least 90% were selected by the electoral college. I believe that the Libertarians are doing as much as anyone to expose many of constitutional violations taking place in our goverment without a Democratic or Republican twist added in. It just so happens that the democrats are soooooo much more vulnerable to this type of reporting due to this administration. www.libertarian.com (http://www.libertarian.com) will get you there. I think anytime you join and support the NRA you are sticking it to Demo's. I also like to support certain advertising on www.newsmax.com (http://www.newsmax.com) as they will expose much of the goverments abuse of power through taking out adds in mayjor papers. They are currently doing one on voter fraud. There is a republican twist to this sight what they expose is no less real. I believe that we have to expose what is going on before we have a chance of shutting it down so this is where I will probably start.

BIG DADDY,
Also believes that the democrats are out to eliminate the middle class. All you have to do is look to europe to see our future if we don't do something aggresive to stop it. The demo's consider the rich to be households making over 50K, that isn't sh*t. They then pretend to care for the poor by increasing taxes on the real middle class households (50k-150k) all the while increasing spending and taxation with every new administration. That is why it is so easy to bunch together the demo's. When was the last time they decreased taxation or spent less money?. I truely do not have a problem taking from others who insist on taking things from me. When the Demo's show that they can considerably break their spending patterns and promote instead of destroy our constitution then we can talk about GOOD demo's. Until then I would advise the GOOD ones to find another party. That's why I am not a Republican anymore, I am a Libertarian.

Political parties played an important part in choosing Washington's successor. In 1796, Jefferson was backed by what was called the Republican party and Aaron Burr for Vice. Federalists wanted Adams and Pickney for Vice

Under the Constitution, the person with the most electoral votes became pres and the person with the next highest was Vice.
Thus Adams Became President and Jefferson was Vice.
