The Kansas City Chiefs have confirmed the second part of NFLScoop’s exclusive early morning report. According to the Chiefs’ <URL http://www.kcchiefs.com/latest/mainnews.asp?storyID=1768&cat=3&showLatest=yes>Official Team Site</URL>, the club has reached a two-year agreement with WR Mikhael Ricks, formerly of San Diego. While terms were not disclosed, Ricks will serve as the team’s 5th receiver. Bob Gretz, of KCFX-the Chiefs flagship radio station, speculated this morning that when Ricks was signed, the team would place OL David Szott on injured reserve. Sources within the Chiefs organization have confirmed to NFLScoop that an announcement will be made later today regarding the Chiefs current 54-man roster.
