FFL Week 7 battles

Looks like Russ is gonna lose to Roger, Kurt scored 30 points today in the playas league, ouch. A lot of other close games GI Joe and myself are locked into a battle with him leading 67 to 65, but I still have jimmy Smith Tomorrow night and we both have some good ones right now.

Don't care how much Roger brags, I will be there to finish him off in the Championship.

Sandbox really needs to get the live scoring thing down, definitly my least favorite thing about it. It does say I have a 3 point lead on Gaz in ChiefsBB1.

I just passed Hops in yahoo 31 - 27, but none of the defensive players have been added into that number.

In BB1 ARASH kicked my A$$ he scored 122 points easily beats anyone in my league. Hopefully I can have Fred Taylor score 3 tds and dante score 4 tds. and Nickerson and Urlacher score 1 apiece. hehe

In Sportsline... it's really still close. I need Carter to score a td in order to be ahead comfortabley. Wycheck & Anderson might make this one interesting.

Roger, that was a really hard-fought battle! 122 points sure sounds good for the team you said sucked. I remember you saying that there's always next year, well I don't have to wait till next year, and Warner didn't even have a good game, and Bruce didn't even have a TD. Remember this, always start Garcia! And trade Culpepper for some decent WRs.

Dang! I was hoping there might be a negative adjustment to Canibals Playas score overnight to break the tie, oh well I need 1 point from Jimmy Smith to win.

Gaz continues his downward swing in the BB1 league, I have a 92 with Jimmy Smith left and he has a wopping 55 with Tony Brackens left.

The Richmod hops (Titus's little brother) beat me in the Yahoo keeper league, my team sucks.

Dartgod - I understand your pain, I think I have lost like 3 WR and Manning has not been the greatest QB this year. I really hate the fact that you made so many offensive players needed to play, there are just not that many good ones and it kills me because I always have a couple guys who score at most 1 point. yuck!

JOhn - I don't see any problems with you doing that, other then of course if we look at it in a rational, real world view. But what fun is that. Edge scored like 23 points for me yesterday, if that gives you any hope.

Kurt will wear off rerally soone here and it looks like Bruce is starting his wear down. This week against the home team might be Kurts last game for a while.. then I might give you Culpepper for Rod Smith... since Tony Banks will kill you and more times than not give you negative points. I'm still very much in it... I had bad games from Rice against Greenbay Schroeder against 49er's and Ros Smith had a field day against a weak Cleveland defense. oh well.. For you ther'es alway next year...

that reminds me... the playoffs start in week 12 with the top 4 teams in each division going head to head.

Cannibal - That was a complete ***** ! I have learned that FF is a curse and next season I'm going to select nothing but Donx and Raider players, so they can all get injured. This will be like my 7th major injury in 3 leagues, and in most leagues I have some of those same players. Crowell, Jimmy Smith, Galloway, 2 kickers and some others that I don't care to remember.

Cannibal - Actually this year I'm damn happy to have a team that is winning, last season I was in one league that I didn't get my first win until week 9. This is a hell of an improvement. I also had Duce Staley in a FFL.

I think next year I'm going to also dedicate myself to Fantasy GP motorcycle racing, because I can't do any worse there.

I think you have an excellent team, you've just come across some bad breaks.

However, if you think you have it bad, check out the Wichita Wombwreckers... that team has scored more points than anyone in the Playa league, but has also given up by the most points by far.

Well over 600 points scored and a 3-4 record, now that's bad luck.

Cannibal - The wombwreckers didn't score many points the first few weeks, they broke loose on me a few weeks ago when I scored almost 100, but he had something like 109 or something. His SF players have really just gone crazy the last few weeks and if they keep it up we could have one ugly mess by the end of the season.

I'm coming off wins in both BB1 and BB Playas. In BB1 I put up 126pts this week, moved up to 3rd overall (3-2 out of last 5) and lead the league in scoring with 642 total pts. I hope to do better in that league. I was surprised someone waived Terrell Davis, who I was glad to pick up http://www.ChiefsPlanet.com/ubb/smile.gif

In BB Playas I'm still tied for last in my division at 3-4 (2-1 last 3 weeks) and looking to do better as well.

In my private league, I'm 3rd overall, the highest scoring team, and on a 3 game winning streak.. This is the league that counts so all is good.

I have that nice 3 way tie for third in the BB1 with you AP, just I'm low in points. Of course playing Gaz makes it easy to move up...
