A San Antonio, TX law firm, Campbell & Jones Law has been retained by
military personnel stationed overseas who requested voter ballots and did
not receive them for the recent national elections, for the purpose of
protecting their "fundamental right" to vote.
A law firm in San Antonio, TX, Campbell & Jones Law, has been retained by
military personnel for the purpose of protecting their "fundamental right"
to vote. They allege that they requested voter ballots and did not receive
them for the recent national elections.
A Campbell & Jones Spokesman told Sierra Times that denial of the right to
vote constitutes not only a violation of one's fundamental constitutional
rights, but taxation without representation. Our clients can be made whole
by flying their ballots to them immediately (injunctive relief) so that
their voices may be heard, or pecuniary relief in the form of their not
having to pay taxes for their period of disenfranchisement from the voting
process (four years).
Since this is going to be filed in Federal Court on Monday, 11-20-00, they
need any other military members experiencing the same problem to contact
them immediately.
