Crennel did a great job all year of picking a thing or two the other team does well and taking it away. And the good news is it usually worked... but it always left something else open that hurt us. Same thing happened yesterday... really we shut down their running attack and their all star WR cast on the outside, but that left the middle wide open.

Doesn't help when your #2 WR is a guy off the street...something tells me that no one could get open worth a shit. We also didn't use charles as a reciever out of the backfield like we should've.

that wasn't just about talent...their offense had been pitiful coming into the game they saw a weakness in our d and simply exploited it over and over and over....their OC deserves credit for that |

Charlie Weis left Kansas City 2 weeks ago. He knew that the farther the Chiefs went in the playoffs the less time he would have to recruit talent to Florida. Haley should have kicked him out when he learned he accepted another position. There is no explaining the total lack of any downfield pass attempts or play action passes! Weis wanted us to lose so he could get to Florida! I hope he drowns in the swamp!

BTW, Chan Gailey hung 34 points on the Ravens D earlier this year.

Gawd. These guys on ESPN are ****in dumb.
Saying the Chiefs haven't BEEN to the playoffs since 1993....****in tool. |

When McCluster Fu@k has 60% of the touches that Charles has then you have to really wonder about the game plan. Chiefs offensive game plan was pretty poor. Probably wouldn't have won the game no matter what but a game plan that took advantage of the fact they were running the ball well would have at least kept them in the game. But when Charles only gets 10 touches and Mighty Mouse McCluster gets 6 then the coaching staff needs their heads checked.

When your best RB puts 88 yards on the defense in the first half and then you dont give him any touches in the second half something is really wrong. I agree that Weiss wanted it over so he could get to Florida. I think they should have pounded the ball with JC until they could stop him.

Exactly...That was the biggest head scratcher....only thing that made less sense was Jim Caldwell's brainless timeout late in the Colts/Jets game. |
I put this game on Weis. He can go and rot in Florida. Asshole checked out before last week. The 2nd half was ****ing aweful. Jamaal Charles was averaging damn near 10 a carry and Weis stops running the ball. Hope his gall bladder explodes again.
Crennel can't really do shit when the Ravens got the ball on our 40 to start drives. Posted via Mobile Device |
