Yes. You know what, San Diego was smart enough to try again. Cincy was smart enough to try again.

Yep, but you will never get anywhere in life if you dont first fail.

Failing means you at least tried.. Taking the safe road all the time ='s mediocrity.

You have to lose sight of 9-7 and take a chance at building a super bowl franchise...

I feel that to have a competent, franchise qb, you need to draft a qb in round 1 or 2 every 2/3 years. I feel if you hit on one, you can always trade the rest for similar compensation. And if you don't hit and only get a serviceable qb you can use him until you groom the next one and then keep them as back up or trade him for good value.

Just my 2 cents.

No team would ever have a QB is they were scared little pussies afraid of taking a shot at one.

So did the Titans, missed with Young and drafted Locker after dumping Young.

And with the current rookie pay scale taking a QB in first round is less of a cap burden than in the past.

Also, you can go down every position on an NFL team and find a high number of early first round busts. So should that preclude an NFL team from ever taking a player at that position early in the draft again?

Guys, we don't need a franchise QB now.

We have a retread that beat the Packers, so we're all good.

And the franchise is still in better shape than KC.
