I feel that to have a competent, franchise qb, you need to draft a qb in round 1 or 2 every 2/3 years. I feel if you hit on one, you can always trade the rest for similar compensation. And if you don't hit and only get a serviceable qb you can use him until you groom the next one and then keep them as back up or trade him for good value.
