Denny Green: "Chiefs are who we thought Seattle was."

-I saw that on Whitlock's twitter.

That IS pretty clever.

Exactly...That was the biggest head scratcher....only thing that made less sense was Jim Caldwell's brainless timeout late in the Colts/Jets game.

You obviously haven't been paying attention to the fact Charles got hurt at the end of the 1st half.

He is extraordinarily smart, but he's a "my way or the highway" guy when it comes to schemes and gameplans, and is a bit awkward in social situations.

Also not sure where you're getting that bit about Weis' wife. They still have their huge pad in South Bend, but she's been living in KC. I don't think they ever really embraced KC though; it's been more of an in-between spot to sit before they figured out where they really wanted to go. Charlie's son was originally planning to go to Texas, but when the Florida thing came up they all decided to make it happen.

That bit about his wife in entirety: His wife never really lived here in KC. Your bit: They still have their huge pad in South Bend, but she's been living in KC. You obviously know more about the situation, but we are largely saying the same thing. Yes they had a house here in Risk Lake, and she may very well have been here at times, but I was told that she never really lived in KC, made it her home. You also state they never embraced KC, it was an in-between spot. Only relevent because imo Charlie never had intentions to stay in KC and planned all along to bolt once his boy finished @ St. Pius. I just don't think he planned on it being a trip back to the college game, by his own admission.

The annual salaries of the top teams is like 150 million, or almost double ours. Until Clark Hunt ponies up the money, we will always be competing at a disadvantage. If the Players/Owners strike a deal, I better see Clark getting out his god damned wallet. This is crap.

Bullshit.

You want the Chiefs to be more like the Raiders, Cowboys, Vikings and Browns?

NFL payrolls

As a business man, and a fan, I appreciate the fact that he is building through the draft and positioning the team for the CBA that is unknown at this time.

Interesting to point out that the Ravens are just one step above us on your link for salary.

375 lbs. of man titted Terrance Cody squashed the poor little guy. He probably had nightmares about those loose hangers all night.

Pats, Colts and Packers right above them. I would rather be in that company than the top 5, wouldn't you? It must mean something.

Bullshit...What about the Saints and Steelers? Bears?

Saints and steelers have rings. Bears have a bye week.

Why do you NOT mention those teams. Look I am not saying we have to spend the MOST money...Can we just not spend the LEAST? The god damn bears have a 50% higher salary than us. 120 million. How bout we spend 110? It isn't even your money...'

Also, in your completely bullshit dishonest post, you mention the CBA...If you go back and read what I wrote..It is 100% predicated on the CBA being sorted out. (notice in my post I said 'IF the players / owners reach a deal')

We would need to spend 10% more on our salary just to be in their company. If you look at it in sheer numbers that is 5 more players worth of salary.

I'm not sure Charles was right after the full mass of that landed on him.

Sorry, but that's a bullshit excuse.

Dude wasn't too hurt to take a pass in the flat 15 yards early in the 3rd quarter.

Dude wasn't too hurt to call a toss sweep for him on 4th and a goddamn foot.

Dude wasn't too hurt to be picking up blitzes in pass protection in the 2nd half.

It's a cover-your-ass excuse, and nothing more.

You are the guy that called Clark Hunt cheap n00b! Just which players would you have added from free agency this year?

If he was cheap would he have paid for Pioli, Haley, Wiess and Crennel, probably the most expensive staff in the NFL? After paying off Herm and Galey?

See it just don't wash call him cheap. Now, if after the CBA is done, and they are the lowest, then we have a problem.
