Correct me if I'm wrong but I believe the Chiefs were inside the 35 when this 4th and a foot happened in a 10-7 game. I'll take attempting a FG over a pitch resulting in a 5 yard loss any day.

There is no way you can justify running that play on 4th and a foot.

That's a 52 yarder vs. putting the ball in your best players hands when they hadn't stopped him all day.

I'm not playing any kind of hindsight game here. It was a terribly designed play that was headed in the wrong direction from the start.

I definitely agree on the last sentence but if you cant hold off 1 man long enough to get 1 foot you need to GTFO. put shaun smith at fb and pound it in there.

How many yards did the offense have? Less then 200. It was vital to control the clock, especially against a physical team like the ravens. The offense never once looked like it could control the clock. The results? the defense wore down. Oh, and FIVE turnovers. Don't put this on the defense.

Defense gave up a 3rd and 12 in the 1st half that resulted in a td and a huge momentum shift...the defense and that pussy scheme can lick my ****ing nuts.

I really don't understand why we couldn't make the adjustment on the same ****ing route Heap kept running. It was like a glitch play in a video game.

Going for it on 4th down was definitely the right call. The play call was indeed awful. If it had been a regular toss sweep with the FB leading out there with Charles, that would have been fine. But, they tried to get cute.

Succup wasn't going to hit a FG from there. At halftime, he was missing a bunch at that end from only 40 yards.

I'd have fired him the second he took another job. Its obvious the massive drop off in offensive production.
