How do I clean all the porn off of my computer??

Some how Mrs. Lundberg keeps busting me for my internet viewing pleasures. I always clear out the history, cookies, and temporary internet files. Running Window XP is there some track I'm not covering?

Quick, trade in that wife for a dumber one.

Jenson71 01-19-2005 07:14 PM

Blame it on the kid. That's what my dad does.

windows XP has a backup copy of cookie in a file called Index.dat

it contains a list of the cookies ... after you delete them and restart the Index.dat file puts the cookies back. ROFL

my suggestion to you is ...

1. download install FireFox (http://www.mozilla.org/products/firefox/)

2. Turn off cookies completely on FireFox

Tools > Options > Cookies > Uncheck "allow sites to check cookies"

3. Restrict your pr0n surfing to firefox only :thumb:

4. Tools > Options > Clear All (after surfing for history and cache)

you might even not keep a Firefox Icon on the desktop ... she might not even notice you have another browser on there. If she does, just say you heard "it was more secure" :p

Save all your pr0n pics in a folder inside a folder inside a folder called "Insurance Seminar"

Or just delete the Index.dat.

BTW, I thought what you said was a little strange, Laz, so I tested it myself.

My cookies don't come back. Even if I leave the Index.dat.

She's finding out some other way.

morphius 01-20-2005 08:32 AM

Don't know if this works or not, but looks like an intresting option.

Of course maybe she knows because you are cleaning out your history and everything else, LOL!

Quit coming to bed at 3:00 am and wanting her ride the bologny pony. That's a dead give-away.... (or so I'm told :hmmm: )

Miles 01-20-2005 05:51 PM

Possibly "My Recent documents" on your start menu?

Fire Me Boy! 01-22-2005 01:50 AM

Download History Kill... it'll delete everything.

It will be re-created the next time IE is opened, but it won't be populated.

At any rate, I'm not seeing what you reported -- when I clear my cookies, they're gone.

jiveturkey 01-29-2005 04:00 PM

I run IE Privacy Keeper. It has a secure delete option that rewrites the hard drive with 0's.

There are multiple areas that it can "wipe" clean and nobody has been able to find anything on my computer since I started using it. :thumb:

You might want to google it and see if you can find it somewhere. I got it from a pirate.

I can feel your pain dude ... my wife is VERY computer literate and there is almost no way to hide it unless you want to install one of those "Don't Get Busted" programs ... and I don't know how well they work.

Nortons System Works 05 has a computer management console that will help you clean out ALL URL's, cookies and temorary internet files and it works GOOD. You can also use some of the features in it to stop your computer from indexing JPG's or pictures in general in Temp Int. files.

I have used it with luck.

Easy.

Tell her if she gave you more blowjobs you wouldn't look at so much porn on the PC. If she falls for that, and discovers that you're still looking at porn tell her that she just hasn't reached the critical threshold that will reduce/eliminate your porn viewing habits.
