I use about a tablespoon of whole flax seeds in my breakfast smoothies, then blend the crap out of it.

I like to add ground flax to my breakfast muffins made from scrambled egg, sausage, cheese, and chopped asparagus. Nothing like hosing down a coffee and flax induced duece with a frothy asparagus piss.
