ATT:GoChiefs..AKA,The Jets ''soft schedule'' this past year..Jeff Sagarin ratings
I guess the Jets had the 7th toughest schedule this year?
http://www.usatoday.com/sports/sagarin/nfl06.htm this output has three parts: (1) teams listed by RATING top-to-bottom (2) DIVISION AVERAGES (listed top-to-bottom & by conference) (3) teams listed by DIVISION (listed in order within divisions) The SCHEDULE ratings represent the average schedule difficulty faced by each team in the games that it's played so far. The schedule difficulty of a given game takes into account the rating of the opponent and the location of the game. To make predictions for upcoming games, simply compare the RATINGS of the teams in question and allow an ADDITIONAL 3 points for the home team. Thus, for example, a HOME team with a rating of 27 would be favored by 5 points over a VISITING team having a rating of 25. Or a VISITING team with a rating of 24 would be favored by 7 points over a HOME team having a rating of 14. NOTE: Use whatever home advantage is listed in the output below. In the example just above, a home edge of 3 was shown for illustrative purposes. The home edge will vary during the season. The numbers to the right of a team's schedule strength are its rank of schedule - (in parentheses) - and its record versus teams in these rating's CURRENT top 10 and CURRENT top 16 respectively. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- In ELO CHESS, only winning and losing matters; the score margin is of no consequence, which makes it very "politically correct". However it is less accurate in its predictions for upcoming games than is the PURE POINTS, in which the score margin is the only thing that matters. PURE POINTS is also known as PREDICTOR, BALLANTINE, RHEINGOLD, WHITE OWL and is the best single PREDICTOR of future games. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The overall RATING is a synthesis of the two diametrical opposites, ELO CHESS and PURE POINTS (PREDICTOR). NFL ratings will be updated after games of Sunday and again after the Monday night game. ____________________________________________________________________________________________________ _________________ Final NFL 2006 through games of 2007 February 4 Sunday _ Super Bowl HOME ADVANTAGE= 1.44 RATING W L T SCHEDL(RANK) VS top 10 | VS top 16 | ELO_CHESS | PURE POINTS 1 Indianapolis Colts = 31.93 16 4 0 22.61( 5) 9 2 0 | 12 3 0 | 34.08 1 | 30.72 2 2 New England Patriots = 31.31 14 5 0 22.82( 4) 8 3 0 | 10 5 0 | 30.97 2 | 31.70 1 3 San Diego Chargers = 28.74 14 3 0 18.87( 25) 2 2 0 | 6 2 0 | 29.09 3 | 28.42 4 4 Chicago Bears = 28.70 15 4 0 18.96( 24) 2 2 0 | 5 3 0 | 28.68 4 | 28.73 3 5 Baltimore Ravens = 27.54 13 4 0 19.30( 22) 3 1 0 | 5 3 0 | 27.47 5 | 27.62 6 6 Jacksonville Jaguars = 24.51 8 8 0 22.34( 6) 4 4 0 | 6 4 0 | 22.32 9 | 27.65 5 7 New York Jets = 23.93 10 7 0 21.91( 8) 3 6 0 | 5 6 0 | 24.27 6 | 23.62 7 8 Buffalo Bills = 22.36 7 9 0 23.66( 2) 2 8 0 | 4 8 0 | 21.62 12 | 23.14 9 9 Tennessee Titans = 22.27 8 8 0 23.68( 1) 4 6 0 | 4 8 0 | 23.27 7 | 21.33 13 10 Philadelphia Eagles = 21.94 11 7 0 19.38( 21) 0 3 0 | 2 5 0 | 22.04 10 | 21.84 11 Final NFL 2006 through games of 2007 February 4 Sunday _ Super Bowl HOME ADVANTAGE= 1.44 RATING W L T SCHEDL(RANK) VS top 10 | VS top 16 | ELO_CHESS | PURE POINTS 11 Cincinnati Bengals = 21.72 8 8 0 20.49( 12) 1 4 0 | 2 5 0 | 20.82 14 | 22.67 10 12 New Orleans Saints = 21.71 11 7 0 18.54( 27) 2 2 0 | 3 3 0 | 22.03 11 | 21.40 12 13 Denver Broncos = 21.48 9 7 0 20.25( 13) 2 3 0 | 3 4 0 | 22.59 8 | 20.42 15 14 Dallas Cowboys = 21.12 9 8 0 19.04( 23) 2 3 0 | 2 5 0 | 19.05 19 | 23.35 8 15 Seattle Seahawks = 20.23 10 8 0 18.15( 30) 0 3 0 | 2 3 0 | 20.26 15 | 20.22 16 16 Miami Dolphins = 20.00 6 10 0 22.89( 3) 3 7 0 | 3 7 0 | 18.98 20 | 21.02 14 17 Kansas City Chiefs = 19.73 9 8 0 20.13( 17) 2 3 0 | 4 6 0 | 20.98 13 | 18.47 19 18 Pittsburgh Steelers = 19.58 8 8 0 19.58( 20) 0 4 0 | 3 6 0 | 19.48 17 | 19.70 18 19 New York Giants = 19.50 8 9 0 20.70( 9) 1 6 0 | 2 9 0 | 19.11 18 | 19.89 17 20 Green Bay Packers = 18.18 8 8 0 20.19( 15) 1 5 0 | 2 7 0 | 19.90 16 | 16.31 24 Final NFL 2006 through games of 2007 February 4 Sunday _ Super Bowl HOME ADVANTAGE= 1.44 RATING W L T SCHEDL(RANK) VS top 10 | VS top 16 | ELO_CHESS | PURE POINTS 21 Carolina Panthers = 18.11 8 8 0 18.23( 29) 1 1 0 | 3 3 0 | 17.99 21 | 18.25 20 22 St. Louis Rams = 17.56 8 8 0 17.80( 32) 0 2 0 | 1 4 0 | 17.94 22 | 17.17 22 23 Houston Texans = 17.12 6 10 0 22.10( 7) 3 7 0 | 4 8 0 | 17.83 23 | 16.38 23 24 Minnesota Vikings = 17.01 6 10 0 19.70( 19) 0 5 0 | 1 6 0 | 15.86 25 | 18.07 21 25 Atlanta Falcons = 15.86 7 9 0 17.96( 31) 0 2 0 | 1 5 0 | 15.84 26 | 15.89 26 26 Washington Redskins = 15.31 5 11 0 20.16( 16) 1 4 0 | 3 5 0 | 14.40 27 | 16.12 25 27 San Francisco 49ers = 14.86 7 9 0 18.78( 26) 0 3 0 | 3 4 0 | 17.06 24 | 11.52 30 28 Arizona Cardinals = 13.68 5 11 0 18.51( 28) 0 2 0 | 1 5 0 | 13.22 28 | 14.12 27 29 Cleveland Browns = 12.69 4 12 0 20.23( 14) 1 3 0 | 1 7 0 | 12.70 29 | 12.70 29 30 Detroit Lions = 12.02 3 13 0 20.54( 11) 1 4 0 | 2 6 0 | 10.26 31 | 13.27 28 Final NFL 2006 through games of 2007 February 4 Sunday _ Super Bowl HOME ADVANTAGE= 1.44 RATING W L T SCHEDL(RANK) VS top 10 | VS top 16 | ELO_CHESS | PURE POINTS 31 Tampa Bay Buccaneers = 11.31 4 12 0 19.98( 18) 1 2 0 | 2 6 0 | 12.32 30 | 9.95 31 32 Oakland Raiders = 7.99 2 14 0 20.55( 10) 0 4 0 | 0 8 0 | 7.60 32 | 8.34 32 ____________________________________________________________________________________________________ _________________ |
...Too much reading and too many big words; GoChiefs will never be able to wade through it all. :D

An ignorant football take... shocking! LMAO
|
Oakland was THAT bad against the league's easiest schedule. What does that tell you?

So does this mean we suck and will continue to suck, while the Jets were better and will better than the Herm Lead Chiefs??
|
This includes the playoff's and the Super Bowl? That is sort of an odd way to do things.
|
Oakland is in the AFC West and at the bottom of that list.
Obviously whatever the list is doing, it's flawed. |

It is odd.
NYJ - 4 games against winning, 3 .500 and 9 losing (6 games against teams that lost their division, 4 teams that won) KC - 6 games against winning, 4 .500 and 6 losing (5 games against teams that lost their division, 4 teams that won) |
Jets toot their horn ? oh that's right they are from NYC.
NYC get a rope. |
what the hell is this again?
