Sounds like an oxymoron to me

Wuss.

I soured on him a good while ago...

KC Jones 12-27-2004 04:10 PM

I'm pretty sure Thomas Jefferson actually wrote that.

BigRedChief 12-27-2004 05:21 PM

I like George Carlin. One of the best stand up comedians ever. Period! End of story. Que the conductor

Very few are as funny as that guy... Good luck in rehab and great job noticing that you had a problem and being self motivated enough to not let it ruin you first... :thumb:

Mr. Kotter 12-27-2004 05:48 PM

I predict he'll quit rehab.... :hmmm:

At least it's not an eating disorder.

The absolute nadir of four-and-a-half years of ChiefsPlanet. Have you people eaten shit and died lately?

Because maybe you should....

....you fucking shit-eaters.

Thig Lyfe 12-27-2004 06:52 PM

George Carlin is a genius. I hope he recovers soon.

Frazod 12-27-2004 08:14 PM

What a crock. If he wants to quit, he should just quit. He's probably avoiding some undisclosed blast of shit from somewhere by coming public with it. I don't buy into it for a second. And why announce it to the world? That's just dumb.

I've known lots of people who were addicted to various things who went to rehab (either voluntarily or non-voluntarily). All of them went right back to their vice/vices of choice as soon as they got out. I always found my druggie friends' "when I was in rehab" stories highly entertaining when we were sitting around doing coke. :D

You quit when YOU are ready to quit. Not before.

WTF is a nadir?

I presume the lowest point is what he is refering to.
