The Playoff Picture - Week 6
AFC
Bye Week Indianapolis (#1) 7-0 Denver (#2) 5-2 Wild Card Round Cincinnati (#3) 5-2 vs. Pittsburgh (#6) 4-2 New England (#4) 3-3 vs. Kansas City (#5) 4-2 (Moving up!) Jacksonville continues to lose tiebreakers. NFC Bye Week Tampa Bay (#1) 5-1 Seattle (#2) 5-2 Wild Card Round Washington (#3) 4-2 vs. Carolina (#6) 4-2 Chicago (#4) 3-3 vs. Atlanta (#5) 4-2 Philadelphia loses tiebreakers twice to NFC South teams to forfeit the last spot, while the Giants lose to Philadelphia in the very first tiebreaker. |
I have a feeling next week we are the #2 seed. :)

Next week will be big.
Pittsburgh is hosting Baltimore, and will probably win. Denver is hosting Philadelphia, which will be a 50/50 shot. Cincinnati is hosting Green Bay, and will probably win. Jacksonville is visiting St. Louis, and has a good shot if Bulger is injured. Buffalo is at New England, and one of them has to win. Indianapolis is on a bye. And we're visiting San Diego. I think we need a win this week just to more or less hold even. A loss would hurt, and a gain probably won't make a huge difference other than burying the Chargers a little bit. We'll gain ground in future weeks. |
Cart before horse comes to mind.
I'm not really worried about our record too much. We are going to have to be on a different level of play to go on the road to Indy or Pitt in the playoffs and win to get to the Super Bowl. And we just ain't there......yet. |
If that holds out, how sweet would it be to knock off Indy and Denver in their own stadiums in the playoffs. Let those bastards know out if feels.
|
I don't know, Indy could be in trouble next week, it'll be the toughest opponent they've had all year. For sure.

Since when does 3-3 beat 4-2? You missed it in both the AFC and NFC. |

Hey n00b... those are division winners... where is skip? |

Division winners are always seeded above wild cards, even if they're mediocre teams like Chicago and New England. |
