Next week will be big.

Pittsburgh is hosting Baltimore, and will probably win.

Denver is hosting Philadelphia, which will be a 50/50 shot.

Cincinnati is hosting Green Bay, and will probably win.

Jacksonville is visiting St. Louis, and has a good shot if Bulger is injured.

Buffalo is at New England, and one of them has to win.

Indianapolis is on a bye.

And we're visiting San Diego.

I think we need a win this week just to more or less hold even. A loss would hurt, and a gain probably won't make a huge difference other than burying the Chargers a little bit. We'll gain ground in future weeks.

Cart before horse comes to mind.

I'm not really worried about our record too much. We are going to have to be on a different level of play to go on the road to Indy or Pitt in the playoffs and win to get to the Super Bowl. And we just ain't there......yet.

If that holds out, how sweet would it be to knock off Indy and Denver in their own stadiums in the playoffs. Let those bastards know out if feels.

I don't know, Indy could be in trouble next week, it'll be the toughest opponent they've had all year. For sure.

Since when does 3-3 beat 4-2? You missed it in both the AFC and NFC.

No one ever goes into bye and comes out with a win. I'd pretty much guarantee it.

Since professional football split its teams into divisions.

Division winners are always seeded above wild cards, even if they're mediocre teams like Chicago and New England.
