What's the deal with the coveted RED parking pass?
Seriously, what's up with it? I am thinking about flying out for a game and I see these things are for sale on-line at various places. What exactly does the RED parking pass get you, where can you park with the thing? Is the RED pass worth investing in? I know it doesn't get you free beer and a date with miss America, so what the hell? :hmmm:

Gets you between the stadiums-easy to copy.

You can redeem it for a pair of thundersticks at the George Brett statue.

Yep-my friend is handicap so he gets them-we copy it and use it too. You still have to pay $20 parking to get in though.
Last couple of years they put a arrowhead hologram on the pass-so you just zacto knife it out of the old pass and use it for the following week-works everytime. |
That pass is the biggest crock of shit at Arrowhead, IMO.
I'll spare you the details about how season ticket holders aren't guaranteed at least one pass........ Broker have pushed this thing out of control. Face value is $25. It's next to impossible to get one for under $40, and I've seen them listed for as high as $60. Granted, you'd have to be a fuggin idiot to pay $60 to park, (or even $40, IMO) but people do it. All the pass does is gives you an opportunity to park closer to the stadium. The earlier you arrive, the better your spot will be. If you can get one for $25, get it. Otherwise, pay $20 to park in the cash lot if you want to tailgate, or park over at the Clarion for $10 and walk over the highway to the lots..... And BTW, passes are being scanned electronically now. Should cut down on counterfeiting...... |

Dude, some places in the far cash lots will rip the fuck out of the bottom of your car! Going over the drive into the grass, you do it wrong in this one spot, you can high center you ride
|
I was mistaken it is a Gold pass we use-we always park in M lot. Plenty of room to play catch and a great tailgate spot.
We walk about 100 yards or less to get in the stadium. |
Any area that has grass doesn't require a pass. You can basically be parked in a Red lot without needing a pass just by parking on the grass medians.
Anything over the normal $20 to get in is a waste of money IMO. |

What makes B5 so nice is that the light pole is right in the middle of the parking spot (width-wise) but is not centered between the spots. So it makes one very long parking spot which is perfect for my friend's 1-ton dually crew cab truck. |
