What's the deal with the coveted RED parking pass?

Seriously, what's up with it? I am thinking about flying out for a game and I see these things are for sale on-line at various places. What exactly does the RED parking pass get you, where can you park with the thing? Is the RED pass worth investing in? I know it doesn't get you free beer and a date with miss America, so what the hell?

So you can just haul ass and park any place between the stadiums if you have the golden boy coveted RED pass?

Yep-my friend is handicap so he gets them-we copy it and use it too. You still have to pay $20 parking to get in though.

Last couple of years they put a arrowhead hologram on the pass-so you just zacto knife it out of the old pass and use it for the following week-works everytime.

That pass is the biggest crock of shit at Arrowhead, IMO.

I'll spare you the details about how season ticket holders aren't guaranteed at least one pass........

Broker have pushed this thing out of control. Face value is $25. It's next to impossible to get one for under $40, and I've seen them listed for as high as $60. Granted, you'd have to be a fuggin idiot to pay $60 to park, (or even $40, IMO) but people do it.

All the pass does is gives you an opportunity to park closer to the stadium. The earlier you arrive, the better your spot will be.

If you can get one for $25, get it. Otherwise, pay $20 to park in the cash lot if you want to tailgate, or park over at the Clarion for $10 and walk over the highway to the lots.....

And BTW, passes are being scanned electronically now. Should cut down on counterfeiting......

Between the K and Arrowhead requires a Gold pass.....even more expensive.....

Gold lots are M and E

Red lots are A-D and F-J

Cash lots are L, and I've paid cash before and parked in the very back of G.....not sure if other Red lots are the same.....

I was mistaken it is a Gold pass we use-we always park in M lot. Plenty of room to play catch and a great tailgate spot.

We walk about 100 yards or less to get in the stadium.

Any area that has grass doesn't require a pass. You can basically be parked in a Red lot without needing a pass just by parking on the grass medians.

Anything over the normal $20 to get in is a waste of money IMO.

Not anymore. We arrived Saturday to discover we could no longer park at B5 (we've been parking in the same spot for over 10 years now) because the bastiges fenced off the first 3 rows of lot B for Gold level parking.

DAMMIT, CARL!!

Wow, that sucks. How much further back was the next pole? Or did you just choose to not use a pole as your landmark?

Way back. We just ended up parking on the end (towards the stadium) two rows back. It felt very odd not being in our regular spot.

What makes B5 so nice is that the light pole is right in the middle of the parking spot (width-wise) but is not centered between the spots. So it makes one very long parking spot which is perfect for my friend's 1-ton dually crew cab truck.
