The Chiefs have been talking to the Houston Texans about acquiring Alex Smith. Houston's been making offers but the Chiefs keep saying "probably not". Houston keeps raising their offer but in reality, the Chiefs are just delaying the situation until Romo gets cut.

Chiefs draft a QB to backup Romo and be the QBoTF

Texans seem to be in win now mode so I doubt they'd be talking to the Chiefs about Smith.

If Houston had a QB they'd be scary.
