All it boils down to is personal responsibility. At this point, he has shown that he doesnt understand that. When he learns how to be a man, and take personal responsibility for his actions, his effort, and his play, then he can be the best in the league.
EVERYONE is hoping this benching knocks some sense into him and he comes back to the team ready to participate and give full effort. His play will follow, and so will fan sentiments, period.
If he gives 100% on the field, he will be accepted, if he can't, then he won't be. Pretty simple.
