The guy sat during the anthem because, whatever his reasons in his own mind, he knew it would cause a reaction. But when he gets one, rather than try to change anyone's mind he runs off to the comfort of home. Narcissistic and weak-willed.

Right, just a civil group of people disagreeing with him. No fans at all that overreacted to every mistake he made on the field, booed him, trolled him on the field, called him a thug, told him he sucks... nothing like that.
What superstar in their right mind would want to play for a city that treats them like that? No, I don't think he'd get nearly this kind of reaction in Seattle or Oakland, probably won't in LA. Those players protested too, you know, without nearly the same kind of backlash.
