Q: You talked about down the road the possibility of irreversible damage, have you given any though about retirement?
GREEN: “No, I have not. I am a very positive person and try to take the best. I don’t even want to answer that one, because the people that have brought it up, right now that’s not in my plans, that’s not the plans that I have been told and with the support of my wife and kids, they know this is what I do and what I love doing. As long as I am honest with them and know that I’m not going to put my next 50-60 years in jeopardy then they are all for me in coming back. As far as ending my career, that’s definitely not in the conversation.”
I take this at face value. I guess anyone could say that he's just fooling himself, and can't admit that he's through, but then isn't that more speculation? Where I can say, has Trent thought about retiring? No, he hasn't. Case closed.
