The epicenter was Bagio (sp?). A high rise hotel or two collapsed and killed a bunch of folks. I was setting 500lb concrete fenceposts in the hills around the fuel farm a Subic Bay. After the quake, the supervisor was screaming at me for being a 3rd Class Builder and not knowing how to use a level. I just turned up the radio so he could hear what had happened, he had been standing next to the concrete truck and didn't even notice the quake.
